Rockets

Year 10 Science Rockets

Over the past few weeks the year 10 science class has been constructing and launching rockets.

We all worked in groups while constructing our rockets. Inside the rockets were parachutes so when they were launched and in the air they came floating down with their parachute. Constructing the rockets wasn't that hard and we had fun decorating them with paint.

On Tuesday 10th the class went down to Briggs oval and launched them. Some were a big success while others failed dramatically.

Some rocket engines caught the grass on fire, which were pounced on quickly by the three firemen!!!

Thanks to Ms Zerbe for giving us the opportunity to make rockets and have fun launching them.

And also a huge thanks to the firemen who did the best job in the world AKA Coops, Sid and Woolly.
